Are you having trouble finding gifts for the children in your life?
Do they more less have everything?
Finding gifts for kids each Christmas can be tough especially if they have brothers and sisters who pass on their toys to their siblings. I remember as a kid I got a lot of gifts sets which I still love till this day, or it was cassette tape, a record or as got older a CD.
Check with their parents if the children have written a list and see if you can get something on the parents list, to save them getting it.
I have gone for journals this year for presents, clothes and story books, as you can’t go wrong with a book or a little journal notebook, especially if the children are into writing.
My son for his birthday received a dustcart toy, which when you press the button on top it moves forwards and back, and tips the bin up like a real dustcart and my son loves it. He also have a fire engine toy which he loves to play with too.
Choose a puzzle or a game that the family can play is always good and gets everyone together on Christmas day, and breaks the ice. As a kid growing up it was a tradition to play card games or a board game, it kind of breaks up the day.
The games my son loves to play with his Mr Men cards and playing matching pairs, and helps them with their memory and observation skills.
Knowing what to buy each year can change as they begin to grow and get into new things each year.
If you stuck on toys to buy why not buy an experience, like one year I bought my nieces an experience at Chessington World of Adventures, and they got to feed the giraffes there.
I found this Video from YouTube which shows you the experience.
So I hope this is helpful to you and will give you those last minute ideas.
